Glowing Mushroom

A few months ago, my timeline on a certain social media site was full of videos on how to photograph glowing mushrooms. The free videos gave away hardly any information though and I certainly couldn’t afford to pay for the full course. However, the next time I was out in Ashdown Forest, I kept my eyes peeled for fungi. The previous year I found a wonderful spot with many different species, but I was too late to see them at their best. From memory, there were parasols, chanterelles and the stunning fly agaric. Sadly, fungi in general had a very poor autumn in 2021 and I only found two individuals worth photographing. Here they are with a little magic from Photoshop.

  1. Cracking shots as per normal 🙂

    1. Cheers Steve! I don’t know where all the fungi went last year. Everybody noticed their absence 🙁
