With yet another long and extreme heatwave possibly on the horizon, it doesn’t look as if I’m going to get out with the camera any time soon. I still have hundreds of older images that have yet to see the light of day and with this in mind, I scrolled back in Lightroom to 2022, which I’m sure was a much less stressful year. These images were taken on an early April visit to Elmley nature reserve, where I managed to photograph this lovely gull posing on one of the gate posts.
